Our Pittsburgh facilities are equipped to deliver cells of the highest quality and dependability to any location across the globe. We maintain qualified equipment, instruments, and facility systems to support phase-appropriate GMP cell manufacturing.

Analytical Testing

In addition to manufacturing, Cook MyoSite provides detailed analytical services to customers, from sterility testing to custom gene expression assays. Our analytical services are backed by more than two decades of experience in clinical manufacturing. We offer comprehensive assay and testing capabilities, validated QC methods for autologous cell therapy manufacturing, and unique methods optimized for muscle and other adherent cell types.

Our laboratory facilities

Cook MyoSite operates two neighboring facilities with 10,000+ square feet of laboratory space, qualified instruments and equipment, and more than 3,400 square feet of cleanroom space with ISO 7 and ISO 5 capabilities. Our laboratories are equipped with all standard biologic equipment as well as qualified instruments for manufacturing, processing, and preserving muscle and other adherent cell types.
